Pixclx Printing & Graphic Arts Equipment

I know that if you're shoplifting something with a security tag on it, you can put the given item in an aluminum foil bag (known as a "magic bag") and when you walk through the door, the alarms won't ring. I don't have time to make a bag and I was wondering what would happen if I went in, took items into the dressing room, wrapped them in aluminum foil, and put them in my bag. Would this still work?
