Rip Software
Is there a way to rip game software from a cd?
I have a netbook (which has no cd drive) so would I be able to rip the game soft ware and put it on the netbook to play it?
I have a netbook too and this is how I do it.
Download MagicDisc from http://www.magiciso.com/tutorials/miso-magicdisc-overview.htm and install it on the computer with a CD/DVD Drive. You will use this copy to create CD/DVD Images.
Install it on the netbook and you can use it to mount CD and DVD images and install the software from there.
Some modern games might work (most old onbes will) but because of copy protection you might not be able to run the game after it is installed.
Also if you are trying to run very demeanding games your netbooks graphics card probably can't handle it. Sorry.
